The required treatment process for smile design

If there is no additional treatment required for the aesthetic smile called “Hollywood smile” (such as implants, orthodontics, gum treatment, teeth whitening, etc.), the ideal smile is determined by designing the smile first. This is a process that takes place in 2 sessions. After taking photos, videos, and intraoral measurements from the patient, it takes about 4-5 days to prepare the smile design. If the patient decides to undergo cosmetic restorations (such as porcelain veneers, porcelain full ceramic crowns, zirconium crowns) after this design, the first session involves grinding procedures and upper and lower jaw measurements and bite records are taken if appropriate. These procedures are taken digitally with a 3 Shape intraoral scanner, one of the best intraoral scanners in the world, in our hospital. This increases the accuracy of the measurement and the speed of the procedure. Depending on the number of restorations to be performed, aesthetic restorations are prepared within 4-10 days. Temporary teeth are made for patients until permanent aesthetic restorations are completed. Since the final smile is determined based on many parameters during smile design, the try-in session is much shorter and the patient’s restorations can be permanently attached. If some changes are requested, the patient’s procedures are completed within 1-2 days, and the aesthetic smile is delivered to the patient.

What are the Hollywood Smile Procedures? (Porcelain Veneers – Teeth Whitening – Implant Treatment)

For the aesthetic smile known as the “Hollywood smile,” porcelain laminate veneers, porcelain full ceramic crowns, and zirconium crowns can be applied.
